That seems to be the long and short of it.
"When I was 15 if that fit teacher had offered me a BJ, I'd have been in there like a shot" etc

Whether they would have done or not is hardly the point.
As someone posted earlier in this thread, if it was a middle-aged man shagging a 15-year-old girl, I suspect the comments wouldn't be quite as charitable.
I would agree that the comments would have not been so charitable. Then again we would have been talking about a different case, so what's your point?
My point is that people's judgement seem to be clouded by them fancying a teacher when they were 15, as if that in any way excuses the teacher's actions.
Hope that's clear.
During the Romford scandel, I can't remember anyone voicing the opinion that the 15-year-old girls groomed and raped were essentially 'up for it' therefore it wasn't really rape.

Well it can't have been rape then. Case closed.

Rape is sexual activity without consent. Thats what the woman did. She avoids rape conviction on the basis of a legal technicality, not her actions.

Anyone?
As things stand, women can't be ccharged/convicted of rape in the UK, even if they've done it. There have been, and there are campaigns to amend the law to erase this technicality.

Didn't even get to one quarter of what was needed to force debate.

Still ridiculous to say a 15 year old isn't old enough to consent, particularly when he didn't say no.

You want to age of consent lower to 15 then.

Hardly anyone interested in changing the law so she didn't

15 years old is under-age sexually. People are considered minors up to the age of 18 years. The 15 year old wasn't old enough to consent

I think 15 year olds are old enough to decide whether they want sex or not.

Minors up to 18, but ok to give consent to sex at 16.🤪

Do you think it's okay for a 35-year-old to have sex with a 15-year-old if the 15-year-old wants it?
