Some News Sources - Feel free to add and discuss

Post by mark »

More and more I feel the mainstream media in this country has moved beyond any level of trust for what it publishes and broadcasts. I find myself having to verify items presented as factual reporting as well as searching out other sources of news that go beyond what publishers, producers, trusts and boards of directors will allow us to access.

In an effort to help stimulate open debate lets have a list of news sources that cover all topics beyond what our mainstream media wish to share. Please no criticism within this thread, it's a listing for people to share and use with their own judgement. Any commentary can be taken to separate, relevant threads. If you have any regular sources that you go to share away and let your posting colleagues make their own judgements.

I refer to here: http://www.talkforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=15885 for my opinion on Spivey.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Vice is mainstream part owned by Murdoch and part by a couple of other American media groups for example.

Well done for the spivey thumbs up Marko!
Imagine a vaccine so safe you have to blackmailed into taking it, for a virus so deadly you have to be tested to know if you have it.

Thank you for doing this, but I am struggling to grasp in what sense they are "news sources".
The Spivey one, in particular, is just a ragbag of opinion, abuse and innuendo. I don't understand, anyway, how someone with his limited resources can seriously provide a "news source". What he seems to do is to stitch together gossip and other people's ramblings.

Anyone (such as Tick) that uses 'gammon' as a racial pejorative is as much a racist as those who use the word nigger and similar pejoratively.

I again find myself agreeing with Hillman. Spivey is only one step removed from Icke.

Slate has been good for years. Haven't read it recently...but well worth looking at, Christopher Hitchen's used to contribute a lot if you like that kind of thing:

Set up by an heiress to the Sears Roebuck fortune and chaired by senior neo-con in G W Bush's administration.

More a pro Israel establishment view from the States than an alternative source I would have thought.
