They're at the death rattle stages now mate...though one could argue it's been like that for a few years now, so who knows?

Alternative news source.

https://www.byline.com

Think it's a work in progress but an interesting idea.

Very left wing but seems to have attracted a lot of readers in a short space of time.

An interesting piece questioning the impartiality of the UK mainstream media:

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfr ... nipulation

Russian news may be biased – but so is much western media

Manipulation of the news for propaganda purposes is not the prerogative of the west’s enemies. It’s vital to look at all media, including the UK’s, with a critical eye

Nothing new to see here, no one has a monopoly on bias. Ironic though, that one of the most biased rags in the history of public media should carry the story.

The irony being that the piece is in The Guardian; not exactly noted for it's impartiality.

correct- the Guardian has over the last few years taken on a pro neocon voice 9joining the Telegraph, times, Sun, Mail etc) speaking out ever more in favour of neoliberal economic practice and military intervention/regime change.

Almost a mouth piece for Goldman Sachs types.

In that case then Tick I'm surprised you refer to so much. It seems to be virtually the only media source you quote in Debate and Discussion. Nice use of Momentum speak by the way.

it's a nice change from the Daily Mail speak that smothers this place.
