Snowed here for about ten minutes last night then the lashing rain washed it away.

There was some snow here when I woke up. But I opened the window and told it to fuck off and it’s all gone now so I can go out.

A little bit of snow in Leeds. Someone at the top of our street has made a little snowman and in the next street there were sledge tracks on the pavement. As the sun is about to go down the snow has only half melted. I bet the police helicopters were out in force this morning looking for the house roofs with no snow on them!

I'd be grateful for some snow. We've had a good freeze overnight. The pavements here all slope a little and have a thin coat of invisible ice, which is almost impossible to walk on. Getting the 30 yards to the path leading to the dog walking fields was bloody dangerous. Let the dog find his own way and inch along stick in hand,
In Wigan on Monday there was real snow, easy to walk on.

Yep. Shame. It snowed in January / February a couple of years ago. Temperatures reached below zero; felt like minus 10.

Always fucked me off when I slogged my way to central London from Essex/Herts (which does get a lot of snow once or twice a year), and everyone who lives in Zone 1/2 going: "There's no snow here!" :x
