Just because there's 1.6 billion Muslims in the world that does not mean there isn't a big problem with extremism within the Islamic community, that's just an odd argument.

I'm sure most moderates would secretly admit this was the case too if they were being truthful, they must know when the nutty hate preachers on the Saudi payroll come to town.

There have been problems with extremism in British schools and Mosques and young people born here deciding to go off and kill innocent people in far off countries.

To downplay the seriousness of the situation only serves to help the extremists not your average peace loving Muslims.

Extremism is created on the Internet. This is the actual problem with the Web. If you are disenfranchised, you can find ANYTHING online to back up your views.

For instance, if you are a racist, you can read Breitbart and the daily mail to confirm your twisted beliefs that yes, every black person is a rapist and should be lynched.

You can read up on how all women are evil and should be killed, and you're a champion for doing so.

You can read up on how children want to have sex and you're a goddamn hero for letting them fulfill their fantasies.

You can read up how westerners have destroyed the middle east, your people's home (from factual websites, disappointedly) and read more and more hate filled bile to make you think you are in the right for killing them.

The actual problem isn't Muslims. It's the internet and how it caters for lonely fucking weirdos who feel they've been dealt a shitty card in life and can find literature online to reaffirm these beliefs.

The Internet is a magical creation, but its also the reason in the last 20 years people's behaviour in all walks of life has become so much more twisted. It fuels hatred like nothing has ever done before. It's not just Muslims that are the problem. It's every type of potential psychopath, its a teaching ground for any type depraved act.

Paedoing is on the rise massively. Killing women is on the rise. Killings in the name of Islam is on the rise. All fucked up shit is on the rise.

To focus on just one because it reaffirms your negative stereotype of something is missing the actual problem.
