I think there comes a point when anyone with a degree of power and influence who's actually concerned about the way things are run would do anything they could to stop McDonnell getting his hands on proper power. Not to mention the millions of middle Englanders who form the backbone of this country's wealth who know his ultimate goal is to destroy all that and have revolution on the streets while he watches on from a position of security and comfort.
