There's a guy I really like .. Thomas Keating ( be interested to know what those guys think of him) .. easy to look up.
Anyway what he says .. I think effectively this :

You can't turn back the wheels of time .. it never happens. Quite a few spiritual people have told me that and I'm thinking it's probably true ?
Globalisation is happening whatever we think of it .. it is God's plan because we are all one end of the day.

No such thing as society, me me me only the individual was the Satanic lie imo Royals .. not socialism.

Well that would be another one. Of course there are many.
We can form our opinions of different philosophies which might differ, but I would point out that we are very clearly told to judge a prophet by the fruits of his words and suggest that a great deal of evil has resulted in many countries from socialism, whilst it is hard to find an example of somewhere where it has delivered what it promised.
In any case , socialism says that religion is the opium of the masses, ( which its certainly not), and has sought to destroy Christianity and other religions.
Now that brings me to your suggestion that it ( in its globalist incarnation),must be in God's plan and thus we must accept it. Well, socialism thought it had destroyed Christianity in the Soviet Union for 90 years, but it was still worth resisting as proven by its ultimate self- destruction .

I wanted to bring this thread back, so answering your post seemed a good way to do that .

Ohhh nice bump, bump, bumpty bump there :D

Thread =

God is a Spirit - Our Heavenly Father.

Jesus Christ is his son whom walked this earth and died for our sins then rose from death again because it could not hold him, so that all that believe on him and our Heavenly Father shall never know death.

We all die in the flesh......believers don't die in the Spirit for eternal life is for all whom believe onto him. As was promised. So it shall be.

God wins.....he works how works in whatever way his will wants, read The Bible, God picked out some flawed people along the way, his will is his, his ways are known to him and he has a plan.....in personal findings, God loves crazy stacked odds on the surface it seems....read into the Valley of Elah and why there at that location...why 5 stones...that is The Spirit of God in a nutshell for me and those whom truly trust and believe with all our heart in our Heavenly Father........and when it is time....his son cleans house.

The end

That brings me onto another confession, so please don't judge. As a bored experiment I signed up to a Christians Only dating site and set up a fake profile. I can honestly tell you, I got a number of incredibly attractive, sexy looking intelligent, well bred, financially secure women take an interest. Obviously I couldn't follow any of them up as in reality I am agnostic, broke, and although physically attractive, terribly troubled mentally.

God Bless you all.

God didn't invent the Welfare State and NHS where people have to toil for the benefit of those that refuse to work.
Globalisation involves turning the West into a minimum-wage shithole by the mega-rich multi-national conglomerates that hoard 98% of the wealth in the world . What kind of God would want that ?

Think Thomas Keating meant globalisation irrespective of politics/power/money etc. I mean people with power and without God are dumb and corrupt. I mean I think I know (yeah yeah) what would work and it'd be socialist but the whole world would have to get incredibly sick first and have a psychic change and so far that's not in God's plan ! Telling people they have to believe is plain ridiculous at this stage.
So you have to understand why a socialist rejects all things spiritual cos why wouldn't they ? .. but then they're left all bitter and twisted and behave like arseholes, so I agree those guys ought to be nowhere near any kind of power. Nietzsche :o explains that well I think !!!
Anyway that thing of I'm a socialist and I'd do it properly this time is always an option no matter what Jordan Paterson eg says .. no cunts need apply for starters ! Victims .. watch tricks and learn first .. read the prayer of St Francis .. every day and do that !! Then reapply mind yer step !
Anyway it depends what you mean by God and what you mean by socialism but it's obvious that the absence of a higher good/God/tradition leaves everything in the hands of stupid humans, whether they are a physics genius or a crusading union leader.
So every individual can exercise free thought and how can you blame anyone who thinks God's plan is a pile of ol shit ? It's like the eye of a needle finding any kind of faith, but look socialism is not this pc bullshit we see everywhere and nor was it Stalin.
I don't believe any human has the answer tbf Royals.

And in hindsight......... This thread.......made because of all the talk of Gods hand in the Presidential race.

And now with what is happening......

Providence was a word used.........

Yeah.

God is good. Only evil hates God.

That’s a great song. Made me wonder what happened to Joan Osborne. Bad news Roscco. She’s a fierce critic of the current POTUS & a big supporter of the gays, the immigrants & Obama.

Does it matter what you do in your life? What happens in the afterlife if you have been a serial killer v spent you whole life worshipping God and putting everyone else ahead of yourself? Are you treated differently, or do you just end up in the same black chasm of emptiness, like the one before you were born.

Or, maybe you retain consciousness and have to form queues for those appointed to allocate you to different afterlife experiences. God only knows how you will see to join these though, unless you pick some new eyes up on the way in.

And would that be preferable to spending eternity with Roscco. These are deep theological questions.
