Theres an assumption on your part and many others that anyone who detests socialism must be either a conservative or somehow " right wing", but that's not true at all. Generally, they're ordinary people trying to get on with their lives without these fucking socialist nutters bothering and lecturing them. They generally do make loads of money out of the socialist con game , and they certainly don't want their money or life choices taken by the state like working people, but I don't personally care if they're rich - good luck to them , but it's the by products of their little game I don't like in terms of destroying everything decent , truthful or productive as they go.

Normal people don't have such strong views on political philosophies. Most people aren't that interested in politics full stop. Announcing you detest socialism repeatedly is generally a sign you're angry & on the fringe right.

Bit like if you see someone screaming Tory scum at a demonstration, it's a safe bet they're on the fringe left, or a posh student going through a revolutionary phase.

Why is someone like J.K. Rowling a hypocrite for continuing to defend the Welfare State now she's made a lot of money. I don't understand the right wing logic. Politics of envy I think.

I've always thought it was the left that was the politics of envy . You see , how i see it is you study hard all through school and college . You work your fingers to the bone and all the hours God sends just to make it a little better for you and yours and eventually , if you're extremely fortunate , all your hard work pays off . You've made enough money through study and hard work to call yourself wealthy . How do the left repay you ?? Tax the fuck out of you . Give your hard earned dosh to the 'Less fortunate' who can't be fucked to go out and earn it . Or maybe a 'full time stay at home mommy' of fifteen who thinks it's a good career move to spend the next sixteen years claiming off the state rather than contributing to it .

I dunno , i guess what i'm trying to say is why is it fair to be punished because you've done well for yourself ? Surely hard work and prudence should be rewarded not punished by vicious taxation by a political philosophy which thinks wealth is bad ?
