Don't think he's facing extradition proceedings to the US because of Wikileaks as such, more for hacking into US State Department technology systems and using blackmail and extortion. Lets get this straight.
Assange was taken in by them after he skipped bail ( an offence here) and when he was wanted by Sweden to answer a charge of rape.Anyone else doing that would be slaughtered here.
Ecuador set conditions for him being there. One of them was not to conduct interference in the affairs of a foreign country. He simply ignored that, and when they very patiently told him they wanted him to leave, he started behaving like a twat. This included smearing the walls of his quarters with shit.
Now, understandably, their patience has run out and he takes his chances, like any other citizen. Unfortunately his vast ego tells him he deserves better somehow.
Whether or not he reveals the truth, he is certainly a gullible dupe of others.
As to "the truth" as you are both keen supporters of someone who tries every day to deny and conceal the truth, I suggest you leave that subject alone.

As for Assange, do his fans realise that his indiscriminate dissemination of the "leaks" has included the names and locations of informers, making them subject to torture, death and the same for their families. When asked about it, he said they were informers, so they deserved it.
