Yes, that was the poorest attempt at making something up I've ever read.

They didn't
It was on Broadcasting House at 0900 and the World This Weekend at 1300.
There is just the faintest glimmer of hope now that both Trump and Brexit will be gone by the end of 2018.

No there isn't. Democracy must prevail, or anarchy will follow.

No, he is not a "Surrey teenager" he is an Iraqi, Islamist terrorist.

They're at it again. Mind they never stop.

I imagine the BBC would say that the headline only gives the bare details. If you read the full report however, there is still no mention of backgrounds etc.

It's a blatant attempt at not reporting the truth in favour of an alternative spin.

It's a bit like the accusation CNN were satired for buying an industrial sized washing machine to help them with their spin.

Fortunately Snopes got involved and confirmed they did not buy any such washing machine so that was indeed 'fake news'. :D

The BBC, as with much of the establishment, and some on here, remain adamantly in the grip of the multicultural mantra, and just cannot bring themselves to criticise islam.
Mind you, - given charlie hebdo, who could really blame them I suppose.
Anyone (such as Tick) that uses 'gammon' as a racial pejorative is as much a racist as those who use the word nigger and similar pejoratively.

They do so frequently, when it is deserved. They invested in the docudrama re Rochdale
You seem to expect them to put criticism in their news reporting.
Listen to Talksport and let it be a lesson to you

Read anything they write about Trump or Brexit and you'll see nothing but criticism. Rape gangs and murderous Islamic terrorists - denial!

Jon Sopel in Washington is so bad it's laughable. But we all know why he was sent to DC don't we ... because no cunt in London/Salford could suffer the insufferable twatter.

They seem to do that quite happily with Donald Trump and Brexit.
They eventually reported on Rochale at the same point they did on Jimmy Saville - when they'd already been caught and it was pointless to keep on covering it up.

Front page on the BBC site news page:

Not that the BBC has an obsession with LGBT "issues".

The best explanation of that atempt at a news news is that someone somewhere is making money from a desperate news agency hoping to capitalise on something no one in the real world believes is anything but another contrived transgender story shown in an ultra positive advertising mode.

The voters in hardcore Labour boroughs will not be impressed but will still vote for those offering it as policy.
