I've a dinner appointment at a lady friend's house and now the only way there is on foot for just over an hour's brisk walk. I'm leaving it as late as possible as I quite fancy getting caught in the anticipated blizzard.

Not much snow. A dusting from early this morning but nothing more. But zero and below temps and a 40 to 50 mph wind are a little disconcerting when outside. A bit tundra like. Wind chill readings say -6 or -7 but I would say it feels worse.

It looks like plenty of freezing winds are on the way but relatively little snow - unless it's dragged off the floor in Sweden and blown over here. We'll have to wait and see if the Met Office can finally get one right.

Just been out on the Tundra with the dogs This weather makes them very active and want to play/hunt all the time. didnt see a soul on foot and I dont blame em.
