I made the folly of going out nearly two hours ago with the snow coming down in sheets. Couldn’t drive for more than ten minutes and had to abandon the car. Walked home for nearly two miles with savage wind chill and snow blozzarding in my face.

At least this weather gives the poor people a taste of Russia, i.e the ones who can't afford to fly out to the actual World Cup games.
We even have the East Europeans swigging vodka coming to us to add to the World Cup atmosphere.

Rain washed away all the snow in Bangor town centre, thank fuck, and I never thought that I'd type those words, but back at home early now in the 'heights' and its still snow covered.

Seems as if Connacht and Ulster escaped the bad stuff that we had. I say bad, I've quite enjoyed it although the journey home today was precarious at times.
