Putin

Post by Hillman avenger »

Putin must be in paradise.

He has had the US in confusion for a year with his stooge in charge. He announces new and mightier nuclear capability.
He finds western people who bizarrely think he is doing something worthwhile in Syria
Now he tries to murder Sergei Skripal on UK territory, while the UK government is also in flux.

You have to say he is an operator.

He obviously thinks the UK & America are a soft touch. He won’t meddle in the affairs of the Chinese Communist Party because he knows they'll respond in kind & have the same respect for human rights he does. Donald Trump is totally in Putin’s pocket so he’s never going to do anything. What about Theresa May?

Nobody dare meddle with the Chinese for many reasons. Manufacturing, resources, military, population and a foreign policy to push state built wealth overseas into western territories, thus giving them a seat at the table/ powerful voice in any big negotiation, My interaction with Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong is daily and they know a lot more about dealing with western cultural nuances than we do. They’re a right canny bunch.

Add Putin to the list of leaders afraid of China, because despite the spin and bravado he’d shit a brick if he ever truly upset Russia’s more powerful neighbour.

Putin is doing a great job for Russia and Russian people. Everyone here sees that his overwhelming desire is to make Russia powerful and respected. He's more Lenin than Gorbachev, obviously, but is that a bad thing?

I've been here since 2011. If it was scary I'd leave.

To some extent. My missus, a very intelligent and savvy woman, sees it how it is.

Cracking rack too.

Can anyone explain why some people on this forum root for Putin?

He is possibly the world's richest person, having got a slice from each of the dubious people who pillaged the Russian economy twenty years ago.

He routinely eliminates opposition.

He is undoubtedly driving programmes to destabilise the EU, NATO, and the US and in particular to nourish resentment towards western political systems.

He has simply annexed chunks of territory to start to rebuild a Soviet Union.

He is supporting Assad in killing his own people, trying to create waves in the Middle East which Russia intends to exploit.

He is building up a massive nuclear arsenal and threatening us with it.

And his arrogance is such now that he is prepared to take the kind of action which occurred in Salisbury, and think he will get away with it.

And yet there are people here who admire him. But mention Soros ( rich, but nothing like Putin) and people froth at the mouth. Of course Soros being Jewish has nothing to do with it.

He routinely eliminates opposition. AND USA, NATO AT AL DO NOT?

He is undoubtedly driving programmes to destabilise the EU, NATO, and the US and in particular to nourish resentment towards western political systems. THE WEST HAS DONE NOTHING BUT DESTABILISE RUSSIA SINCE 1945, INCLUDING 1989

He has simply annexed chunks of territory to start to rebuild a Soviet Union. OPEN TO DEBATE

He is supporting Assad in killing his own people, trying to create waves in the Middle East which Russia intends to exploit. HE PREVENTED SYRIA AND IRAN, THE LAST PIECES OF THE JIGSAW FALLING INTO ENEMY HANDS

He is building up a massive nuclear arsenal and threatening us with it. HE IS THREATENING OUR MASSIVE NUCLEAR ARSENAL (WHICH EXISTED FIRST) WITH HIS NUCLEAR ARSENAL? WE HAVE SURROUNDED RUSSIA WITH MISSILES, POINTING AT RUSSIA, SINCE 1945...YET WE ARE NOT THE AGGRESSORS?

And his arrogance is such now that he is prepared to take the kind of action which occurred in Salisbury, and think he will get away with it. NO PROOF WHATSOEVER THAT HE HAS DONE THIS, PLUS IT MAKES NO SENSE FOR HIM TO DO THIS

And yet there are people here who admire him. But mention Soros ( rich, but nothing like Putin) and people froth at the mouth. Of course Soros being Jewish has nothing to do with it.

I'M NOT SURE WHAT YOU MEAN WITH THE JEWISH CONNECTION (APART FROM BANKING AND WEALTH, UNLESS SOMETHING TO DO WITH RUSSIAN ORTHODOX JEWS?)
