Rather stay in a poorer U.K (Idi Amin offering bananas!!) and keep the spirit of democracy going than the alternative.
You can only live in the world you know. The rest is just wishful thinking or paranoia.

Why don’t you watch the EPL review on Sky Sport instead mate? Kam and Shepherd are far better and have far better guests in than that archaic programme with the lamentable Lineker and Shearer.

Re: Is Gary Lineker a national treasure?
I don't want another referendum, I'd much rather MPs grew a spine and shorted it out. I understand why they don't want to, whatever they end up with the voices of the 'silent majority' will scream that it isn't the Brexit we voted for - although none have yet laid out what a Brexit we voted for means. But, MPs want to rule the country so they need to get on with it.
However, the hypocrites that are criticising Lineker because apparently giving the public a vote is undemocratic are ridiculous. If Remain had won by the same margin as Leave did I doubt any of the shouty halfwits currently bemoaning calls for a vote would have said 'oh well, time to shut up shop' no - they would have claimed that the public are moving towards a vote out and then used the fact we'd had one referendum to call for another.
No one is seriously arguing Scotland or Wales shouldn't have another referendum if the people want one - it is the same for the EU. You either think a referendum is a worthwhile political device or you don't.
I think we'll get one because none of the political parties seem to have the nerve to forward a position because they don't want to be blamed for the problems that'll follow once we're out. For all the bashing of May, she is the best chance of getting a deal because she knows she will be fucking off to retirement a few months after she signs it.
