I've never known the bbc to be anything other than fair and balanced and wonderful value for money. Then again I'm clearly mentally ill

Typically, bots perform tasks that are both simple and structurally repetitive, at a much higher rate than would be possible for a human alone.
Seems we have a few botty members these days.

Re: Hurricane Florence
Remember our weathermen with their paltry gales and their 'dont forget your umbrella's tomorrow, dear' chit-chattery to old biddies used to froth with jealousy at their trans Atlantic cousins with their weather 'events'. Climatic happenings with the potential to destroy large swathes of land, take hundreds if not thousands of homes and maybe a bodycount reaching into 3 or possibly even 4 figures!
God, they got stiff with envy at the thought of Chip, Chet or Chuck, the weathermen reporting on nearly epoch changing disasters on the likes of lowly WJIZ Channel 6, the Voice of Cretintown Iowa.
Tornados! Hurricanes! Stormfloods! Icestorms! Blizzards!
And over here its, "Well it looks like the summer fete at St. Allardyces Parish Church in Pintowine outside
Worcester will have to move indoors to the church hall as some unseasonable preciptation is possible after lunch...".
And their shit had names!
Hurricane Sandy!
Hurricane Katrina!
Icestorm Jimbob!
Tornado Ali, or I've heard something like that.
''We want names for our weather!" they bleated. "The Yanks have them so we want them too! S'not fair! S'not fair! Waaaaaahhhhhh....." they drivelled.
And so now we have...''Well it looks like the summer fete at St. Allardyces Parish Church in Pintowine outside Worcester will have to move indoors to the church hall as "Slight Drizzle Habbakuk the Revenger' is possible after lunch...".
And you know whats worse. No sooner have we pandered to these tiny cocked insecure mental tapeworms than we realise, '' Hey, they are not very good at this! And havent been for years! They couldn't predict sharting in Pishtank's massive Y fronts!"
If I want local a weather forcast for the immediate area surrounding my house on the outskirts of Bangor in County Down, then I go online to an American site, based 5000 miles away on the US left coast, which somehow also has a weather station 500 FUCKING YARDS OR SO AWAY from my house, and get a pretty accurate and honest forecast for the next 24 hrs and beyond.
I do NOT rely on the goddamn taxpayer funded Met Office or whoever else supplies the BB fucking C with their garbage.
And thats fitting because instead of the dry and sunny morning and lunchtime the BBC forecast for here, I'm looking out on the steady drizzle of 'Raindrops Vince, Fiona, Gary, Monty, Bai Ling, Jimmi, Alberto, Dietrich, George, Ru Paul, Felipe, Ng<click>chowkit, Billy, Teresa, Elijah, Kris, Chaim, Vladimir.............etc'.

Re: Hurricane Florence
Are you not very well?
BTW BBC's forecasts are from Met Office which is ranked first worldwide for accuracy. It is the preferred forecaster for transatlantic aviation.

Carlos, have you got NASA satellite or other sourced videos as Florence hits landfall?
Sorry didn't see this yesterday or would have posted something, kancut.
Just share these though:
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Look at the people just strolling around in the background.
You can only live in the world you know. The rest is just wishful thinking or paranoia.
