Don't forget this BBC nonce. Simon Cowell once bailed this man out of jail. For some reason the press choose to bury that fact.

If it went undetected how did they have an opportunity to stop it?
Did you read the first part of the sentence? Who is responsible for the culture at the BBC?

Absolutely, the BBC Is A sinister organisation, and it's too late for reformation, it should be abolished. Totally outdated and totally irrelevant.

It's a corrupt, biased, morally bankrupt institution and no one should be forced to pay for it for starters.

I think society at large has a part to play. It's indicative of the rot that has begun to creep-in.

Filthy, disgusting company based on noncing, the most revolting organisation in this country. And they expect us to believe that just suddenly stopped when they were caught out.

Bullshit.
The BBC also employed John Peel, whose wife was actually 18 when he began working there.
Can’t be arsed.

The fundamental question remains...

If people KNEW what Saville and others were doing, why was it the BBC's problem to sort out? Surely anyone who was in that position should be in touch with the police, not the BBC.

Ditto at LGI and Stoke Mandeville.

A question pointedly ignored by the bash-the-BBC brigade.

But who had previously married a 15 year old in Texas or somewhere.

Could you share the slide deck from the 'fucking kids at the BBC' training day?

It was all over the news, so I have no idea how you missed it, but it's still available on the internet to review.

I find it very odd that anyone is defending the BBC on this subject

Here are a few headlines

5 senior BBC employees who knew about Savile and Hall and did nothing

BBC missed chances to stop attacks

BBC did nothing when director caught him in the act

Atmosphere of fear' at BBC allowed Jimmy Savile to commit sex crimes, report finds

Serious failings' at BBC let Jimmy Savile and Stuart Hall go unchecked

Sorry haven't got the time to go back and link them, but they are easy to look up. You could do a search along the lines of 'how the BBC stood by and allowed Savile to go unchecked' or similar.

Not a problem, I bow to your obvious detailed analysis of the report you can't remember the name of.
