Carc clearly has aspirations to become a local newspaper journalist. There's a bollocks weather scare story published on the Cornish news website at least 2 or 3 times a day.

As for all the nostalgia for proper winters, we had snow this year. Ample opportunity to build a snowman if desired.

Reminiscence of old school days, getting in the classroom after a fierce snowball fight, and putting your hands on the radiator, turning them red, itchy and hot. Remember making a huge slide in the playground and the headmistress slipping up on it, and having a few raps with the ruler. Great days though.

i remember we had a snow ball fight and a classroom windae got smashed. No one confessed so about 6 of us were all belted.....far far worse on frosted hands....couldna feel a thing for ages

The mountains here have been white for about 2 months, but that is normal.
Snow gates around Braemar were reported to be closed at weekend.
Glenshee Ski Centre reporting there isn't enough snow to ski, their picture below.
