Yes, it's winter. That's what happens. It must be a snow news day (see what I did there)?

A shame we miss out on all the snow . At least the schools don’t have an excuse to close

Snow hasn’t bloody hit Europe. It’s affected the northern and central Austrian Alps FFS. It’s not hit Southern Spain, the UK or Turkey for example. Europe’s a whole continent so keep it in context you idle waster.

Are you at school? Were you around last winter? You travel don’t you so why don’t you travel to somewhere where is snow like the Brecon Beacoms or Scottish Highlands?

Are you complaining about the schools closing when it snows or there being no snow right now?

Snow in this country is shit. It’s wet and slushy and the winters are damp and miserable where the cold gets into your bones and into your chest. Most of the days are dull and depressing. If you go to the Alps, the air is beautifully crisp and the snow is generally fine and powdery. The days there are sometimes lovely and sunny with blue skies.

It has affected turkey and also Greece . Just because you’re not affected doesn’t mean it’s not happening .

It happens, it’s winter! It’s not an atmospheric phenomena which is unprecedented.

Snowed pretty much non-stop since I got back here on Friday. I'll take some pretty pictures tomorrow.

What’s the texture of the snow like in St Petersburg, End-o? Serious question.

When the Thames freezes over so much , it is safe to have bonfires on it and still skate around on it. Now THAT would be Winter.
Of course it would be mandatory that everyone dresses in 1880s attire.

The river and canals have already frozen here.

The Gulf will be frozen soon too - just needs the temperature to stay consistently below -8c for a week or so.
