When was the last time you heard of any project that came in on budget, let alone on time. HS2 looks like being the same, the Scottish Parliament building, 3 years late, estimated between 10-40 m quid, came in at £414 m. the London Olympic games, Livingstone said that it would cost under £2.5b,(although he did admit that his back of a fag packet figure was pure fiction because he knew that if he'd told the Government the true cost they would never have bid for it) eventually came in at just under £9b, and it was lauded at coming in 'under budget' by £377m after Tessa Jowell raided the Lottery fund and people stopped buying lottery tickets in protest saying that the Olympics were not one of the 'good causes' the profits were supposed to support.
How many hundreds of millions were written off when the new NHS computer system was scrapped?
I'm sure there are many more than forumers can come up with, but Hey Ho, it's only public money, it isn't as if the pwers that be have actually to fund it themselves.

Free hospitals , houses , education and everything else out of collecting everyone else's wealth and taking control of all commercial and individual decision making.

In short then, you're simply saying that you insist that socialism works very well despite the universal experience that it doesn't. You say that the promises they make are quite realistic despite the fact that they never work and you reiterate that you have confidence in the people who made the promises, even though they broke them.
Okay, well that's your view and you're entitled to it. I learned long ago that you're not open to persuasion by logic because your political beliefs are effectively a religion to you and so evidence won't shake your faith in the likes of Tony Blair.
