Fair lines of questioning if you expect to lead a party.

And would be the same for any other.

You don't prove anything by plucking one example in isolation. Would you rather our programmes just allowed out politicians to use them as adverts? Much as Fox News does

And if you WOULD rather that, congratulations because that's what they really do !

Yes it does though. Why do you simply deny facts you don't like ?

There many objective commentators online who do a better job than who we call traditional journalists.

Journalism is largely dead and has been replaced by opinion journalism which anyone can do as it only relies on having an opinion.

And yet, as I pointed out in another thread, a 30 year old climate change piece was in front of the Royal baby in the specific bulletin I quoted.
I'm not saying it should have been the lead story, but since it's been quite a big story elsewhere you might have thought they could have squeezed it in somewhere the tragic story of the homosexual sailor being victimised in the1980s and the brilliant new strategy by the NHS of treating people by giving them colouring books and a box of crayons.

Just a throwaway observation really, but on a radio 2 show around midday today, even one of their has-been pop stars turned DJ got in on the act, stating that climate change is an undeniable fact.
Anyone (such as Tick) that uses 'gammon' as a racial pejorative is as much a racist as those who use the word nigger and similar pejoratively.

Clips on You Tube are not the equivalent of reporting.
That is an opinion, not a fact. The same applies to you.

What's the difference between them in terms of reporting then ?
The approval of some commercial " news provider" , that's all.
If you question everything you're told you'll apply the same care to YouTube reports as the BBC , RT or Fox.
The right to write or publish news isn't something which belongs to any of these or the state to allow or disallow, and nor does their approval add any particular credibility.

I think they're very aware of the possibility of serious civil disorder or worse in the uk over Brexit and they're worried about giving people ideas.
Also the whole thing shows the growing discontent within the EU over various issues and the growing ruthlessness of the authorities in surpressing protest. This is not consistent with their Policy of portraying the EU as a wonderful paradise with a contented happy life for its subjected peoples.

Well according to the BBC we have no need to worry about large scale disorder as all of those likely to take part are now going to vote remain.

Plus the fact that we wouldn't know how to hold disorder if we left the EU anyway.

Following the Danny Baker saga last week, will be interesting to see if the BBC apply the same standards to Test Match Special's Jonathan Agnew following his twitter 'cuntgate' meltdown.

One would hope that the Uppingham Public School educated Agnew will be treated exactly the same as dockers son, Baker.
