Election Safeguards.

Britain goes to the polls next week and will vote on matters which may effect history.
The Party of Nigel Farage, which I won't mention by name because I'd prefer not to see this' quite separate matter sucked into the catacomb of the thread which shares the name, is likely to ger huge support from the public.
Well, it will if there's no cheating, but that's a big if. The voting public no longer trust the government to behave within the normal constraints of democracy, so how do we know the vote will be fair ?
I don't know whether there are observers from democratic nations such as the USA, Australia and Russia for example, but there certainly should be.
The obvious thing is to take a photo of your ballot paper, but I think this might be illegal, so check that. What I do suggest is that people make a note of the number printed on the ballot paper , sign and date it , note how you voted on this piece of paper and if possible get someone to sign your original note as soon as possible after leaving the polling station.
If there's some dramatic and unexpected outcome favouring the establishment / media agenda then the only way to prove dishonesty in any subsequent criminal investigation will be if such notes can be produced and don't tally with what the BBC announces.
This tactic was successfully used to detect ballot box stuffing by the Democrats in marginal areas during the US General Election between Donald Trump and Clinton, so do you think we could use it, or are there any other suggestions ?
