In fact though, it's very hard to define a religion properly, (I'm sure you can find a dictionary entry , which is different ) , and many academics would certainly include both socialism and secularism as religions.
Their reasoning is much more complex than this, but would include that both require faith since you cannot prove either of them.

There are a couple of uses of inverted commas in the English language. I'm not aware of one which indicates hatred.

Since the term belonged to religion long before if was taken up by legislators , it's legitimate to reject it's use for something else and yet we need sometimes to refer to it in conversation and so we might use the inverted commas to indicate that we are not satisfied with the sense in which it is used.

We know from your postings that you take a different view, which you are perfectly entitled to do. You are also entitled to engage in any consensual relationship you choose to.

However , you are not entitled to insist that everyone approves of it, and neither disapproving of something nor disagreeing with you amounts to hatred.

You have beliefs which you cannot prove but which are sustained by faith, and you become inexplicably angry about religions which contain hope and goodness.

You are not the first group to confidently think you've destroyed the Christian Faith , nor the first group who have thought they could confront God. The Romans thought they'd destroyed Christianity 2000 years ago, yet they and their cruel empire were the ones who became dust as did every self deluding cult which followed , and as will this current cult of evil and hubris.
