I'm afraid I gave up at 5.45 and went to bed :? :?
I did, but only because I was sitting in A&E with someone.

I hope that 'someone' is on the mend, Vespa

Corbyn is a total liability, that's true. Glad he's off.
But it is mystifying that so many working-class people have voted for Boris Johnson, a former member of the Bullingdon Club no less, and one of the most privileged individuals who ever lived.

It's more mystifying that 10.3m people wanted Corbyn as PM

Sorry to hear that Vespa, I had quite a few visits to A&E in 2018, once twice in 36 hours, but Nil Desperandum, don't let the buggers get you down, hope all is well with your relative/friend.

Sturgeon harassing Johnson for 2nd Scottish referendum already. Is that even in the top 100 on his list. Stop squeaking you silly woman, going on having a bigger mandate. Who from, not those who would vote.

'A clear majority of Scots would vote to "remain" in the UK if there was another referendum on independence, according to a new poll'.

She's still got a massive job trying to convince the people that they would be better off outside the UK, she should be concentrating on that instead of dripping on. Change the fucking record.

It was fine they broke some toes so I had to pick them up and take them to A&E. Being pinned today.

It’s incredible really. Listening to the radio today it sounds very much like Johnson didn’t so much win this election rather than the opposition was so poor he could hardly lose.

Incidentally, when I opened up the ballot paper yesterday I discovered a brand new party (new to me anyway) the Christian Alliance. That was the first I’d heard of them. Makes you wonder why they bothered.

For those who I know personally, - it was a case of 'always been a labour voter/can't bring themselves to vote tory'.
Anyone (such as Tick) that uses 'gammon' as a racial pejorative is as much a racist as those who use the word nigger and similar pejoratively.

A lot of people that voted ukip switched to conservatives this time around as they know they'll get brexit done. Even BNP supporters would have voted Tory as they are more right wing these days.

Johnson would have had a 136 seat majority had Parliament implemented the boundary changes recommended by the independent Boundary Commission.
