I've always wondered how awful your life has to be that stabbing random people to death is the way you choose to go out?

Not fucking about. That they arrived so fast and acted so decisively probably means they've been tipped off that something is in the works. Can't fault them. They were ready. Well done.

It seems that if they think that any of these maniacs might be wired up to a vest, that a shoot first and worry second tactic is in operation. You see the way they wanted the civilians to scatter away fast. I don't think that's just because they've a gun on him.

The Embankment is teeming with armed police. I'm not surprised they turned up quickly.

I'm a little ashamed to say it, but I laughed when it was revealed the guy was shot because he had a fake suicide vest on.
