Politicians of any political party are fair game in a satirical show and deserve the piss taken out of them by politically incorrect comedians. The electorate have proved they are generally too thick to vote with their feet so the only refuge in these times is for shows like HIGNFY.
If Farage’s supporters are too thin skinned, that’s their problem.

But there you go.... 'The electorate are too thick'.....well okay but who decided that the socialist elite are the ones appointed to dictate to them ?
BoJo just reminded his new MPs " we are not the masters but the servants of the people",and there you have it. That's what socialism doesn't get.
They think they're annointed to rule over the people as they wish, like medieval lords , denying the people a share of the country's wealth or a say in their own affairs. That's exactly why it annoys normal decent people to watch the fat self important tossers on this unfunny show laughing not at politicians, but at them.

Shouldn't this be in the Say Something Unintereting' thread.

It is a reply to the previous post to mine, the remark is totally inline with the subject matter. That is how the debate and discussion works.
Maybe somebody should have explained that to you when you became an Admin.

As have numerous people who are invited in to be targets for Merton and Hislop. The difference is that they're still there because they can't do anything else and he's the Prime Minister. As a matter of fact he's the target of a LOT of spite and jealousy from them

- does Merton do anything else as well as sitting there once a week doing his face pulling for £40 grand a show ?

Yes, - that's the be all and end regarding criticism of the BBC that the 'lefties' just fail to get, - the bbc is the only broadcaster that is legally required to be unbiased in its output*, and it so very clearly is not.
None of the others matter in the slightest.
*not sure about C4

Here it begins
Just as in the US. Suppress challenge.
And by the way the BBC is required to be "balanced", Different thing.
Tired of pointing that out.

There speaks someone who after careful consideration as the most informed and knowledgable person on here said - Corbyn for Prime Minister.

Who's responsible for enforcing that, Jo Brand?

It's not exactly a new idea that the BBC is biased. If you want an example of views being surpressed you can find it on the recent pages of this thread, but no one is surpressing the BBC . I'm glad though that you mention that they " challenge" one side rather than being balanced or unbiased.
I haven't checked but I'm pretty certain that the BBC Charter does use the word "biased" and I'm certain that the Offcom rules ,( which also apply to them ) does.
In any case, none of it worked did it ? Are you going to accept the result of this election or are you planning an impeachment ?
