A lot of people are pointing out that if sufficient labour MPs broke off into a new less socialist party, they'd become the opposition, and that's the only way they can change because their leader selection process involves a membership vote , and extremists from momentum are much more likely to join the party than the floating voters who can elect them

A bit more 'political correctness gone mad':

I'd be interested if anyone agrees with this.
Anyone (such as Tick) that uses 'gammon' as a racial pejorative is as much a racist as those who use the word nigger and similar pejoratively.

Seems a bit over the top, Roy, but I don't see how doing something to prevent racism is a bad thing.

Ridiculous isn't it. I wonder who's paying for this and I should imagine they'd get smacked a lot if they go round butting into conversations and accusing people of being racists when they're not.
The whole education system really needs looking at to stop it being a political indoctrination tool and wasting money like this . It's strange to see this and other ridiculous spending on freaky political stuff when they're not teaching kids basic literacy and numeracy.

Sadly, if umpteen reports of 'no-platforming', 'removing portraits' etc are par for the course, then it seems that the current generation passing through university appears to be only too welcoming of such steps. Those 'arrested' for such misdemeanours will no doubt apply the tar & feathers to themselves.
And then onward to spread the gospel in wider society.

Seems like a social justice warrior charter to me.

"Stop making everything a race issue" translates as everything must be turned into a race issue to my mind.

Shame we're leaving the EU (not really :D ) as we didn't get any of this bullshit from the Poles who I guess were brought here because our education system has created a bunch of useless triggered brats who only know how to tweet and breakdown in tears because they are offended.

I'd say it increases them. No employer wants these people unless they are some woke organisation filling quotas. That's why so many Eastern Europeans got jobs. They just get on with it.

I'll be sorry to see them go as we'll just have to employ the fodder we've created.
