Tehran Plane Crash

Post by Royal24s »

When I saw that a plane had crashed in Tehran at the same time as they were doing their best to incinerate British and American service families in their beds, I thought it was a very big coincidence.
It seemed very odd indeed that they were refusing to hand over the black box.

In fact , I was just about to post about it when I saw that it now appears that they actually shot it down, killing 167 completely innocent civilians , mainly from Ukraine, but including some British and Canadians.

This is a completely different issue to the matter of the President's drone strike on the Iranian terrorist, by the way, so I'm hoping it won't be merged as tends to happen if there's any tenuous connection with another thread.

The point of this thread is to ask whether we can afford to allow this insane medieval regime to have and use modern weaponry.
As much as the likes of Jeremy Corbyn, George Galloway and certain people here try to portray them as victims, they're really not, and this isn't the first, but merely the latest mass murder / attrocity committed by the mad mullahs in charge.

We know that some are reluctant to meet their aggression with force , and if there's some other way which might be effective I'm all for it. What then, should we do to curb them, or should we just put up with it ?

No, I hope not. It's in the nature of current affairs and news that individuals and events will have some commonality between different stories and personally I don't like the tendency to link anything , for example ,which mentions Donald Trump even incidentally.

I did fear that this would get swallowed up into the other thread because of the fact that you can see a connection, but a plane crash in Terhan is a different story to a military operation in Baghdad.
It's not up to me, but Carlos has posted here without merging it, so let's hope it won't be.

Yes, and with hindsight it's probably significant that most major airlines ceased flights over Iran almost immediately.

Yeah, it's worth a standalone thread, might bring over some of the other posts later.

If anyone saw the Iranian minister being interviewed today, it'd be hard to avoid the impression that he was lying and contradicting himself. The position seems to be that it was an unrelated accident and everyone is making up lies about them.
He directly denied even the possibility that it was a missile.

Will this be enough for the anti west, anti Britain mob to accept that Iran is a dangerous rogue state which can't be dealt with in the way that legitimate foreign governments can?
