I went to use the atm in Asda's today and there was only one person in the queue to go in, so I took advantage of that and got piles of everything I'd been running short of. They even had aspirins !

Point is though that they were regulating it very efficiently and politely and certainly not refusing to sell anything which wasn't "essential". In repose to the Chief Constable of Devon and Cornwalls proclamation that cigarettes weren't essential, I also got an extra 600 fags, three big pouches of rolling tobacco, rolling machine, papers and tips.

Not somewhere I'd normally shop but well done Asda's !

Government = Don’t go out. Supermarkets = There are no delivery slots.

Just Eat, Deliveroo, Dominos Pizza etc are the only people who’ll deliver (at a ridiculous price)

Blitz spirit all the way to the poorhouse.

Got a Chinese delivered on Friday by Just Eat for the normal price. And they were 10 minutes early.

No, they're all giving dates in two months for deliveries and saying click and collect is oversubscribed.

As I've mentioned elsewhere - Asda do seem to be acting correctly and sensibly.

My daughter was already subscribed, so logged into her account and changed all the details to Mrs Zs. Their website let me order stuff on line, and said anything ordered by 11pm tonight would be delivered the next day, but we don't want to collect until Thursday. If not will just go down the local store and barge my way through. :D

PM me if you want any more toilet rolls, but I've had to put the price up a bit I'm afraid .

Well, that's my two weeks annual leave over so it's back to work at Tesco in Dundee.

Well if you're up there, no one would notice would they ?
A lot of Scottish people had their applications for the original Gestapo refused on the grounds that they were too nasty and they all had to join the Northern Constabulary Traffic division instead .

Can't you get a job in the jute industry ?
