Somewhat interestingly and quite telling -

15th September 2020 marked 80 years since the Battle of Britain.

And what did we get on good old TalkForum?

Someone moaning about World Afro Day.

Sums up the nation we’ve become really :(

I couldn't care less how many groups have their day, but this is a silly idea based on supposed discrimination against people with frizzy hair. Who cares what type of hair anyone has, but for people to be persuaded that they need to make a stand about it, is really pathetic, and I bet it's not those who have Afro hair that has organised it.

What about fat ass or small dick day, we need more celebration days.

You do care. The fact that you've initiated and continued a debate about it is evidence of that.

If it's that insignificant then you should treat it as such.
You are wrong again fella. I didn't say it was either significant or insignificant. The point I am making, and note that has been misinterpreted several times, is that this in not a celebration, but a group of people making a political point.

This is highlighted in the left of centre press.

What point is it making that you disagree with?

While we're at it who would call you a racist for wearing an wig - as you've claimed.

Please point me to my post where I have claimed that I would be called a racist for wearing a wig.

As for the point in the political event masquerading as a celebration, let's start with raising awareness about hair discrimination and inequality.

You're making far too much out of this. If people want to celebrate afros then let them. It's not going to impact negatively on anyone else.
