Yet we're meant to believe there's millions of kids going to bed each night starving. Utter bullshit.
Ownership of a mobile isnt a yardstick by which to measure poverty.

A child having a mobile phone (you dont even know if they're able to keep up with PAYG or contract payment) isnt justification for ignoring its welfare with regard food.

Yeah they are starving, and that is because when you give chavs who have kids benefits, they'd sooner spend it on gadgets to impress other chavs than feed their kids. It's not the kids who are the problem it's their fuckwit parents who should be doctored. The kids become a problem when they grow up like their parents and do the same because they know no different.

What happens if you can afford to feed their kids when they are born, but when they are 8 years old you get made redundant due to a pandemic?

Parents who lose jobs or face lowering economic fortunes years after having children shouldn't be penalised. They'll need some support in such circumstances until back in employment.

We're already seeing a declining birth rate in Europe. Ideologies like the OPs wont help with that.
They have no support in the third world but have a soaring birth rate
Are we aspiring to be the third world?

Free school meals were introduced by the Liberal Party in 1906.

However, given the pandemic and its impact on the economy there's probably some good parents struggling and I wouldn't have begrudged the extra funding as a tax payer.
Indeed. The bible says that the sins of the father should be brought upon the child up to the forth generation. But the bible also confirms that God later said that the sins of the father should not be brought upon the child. The Conservatives haven't got that far through the bible yet.

Agree, not the kids fault, so they should be looked after. Problem is if they provide the help in the form of cash, then the bad parents won't spend it on their kids.
Better to give it in the form of free school meals then.

Good, if you cant afford the to have the internet at home a mobile is the only way you can apply for a job - aside from the libraries, which are closed due to covid.

Serious question.

Has there been a story of an actual family who claim to have starving kids ? One that details exactly how much they receive in income/benefits/credits and a break down of how they spend it ?
There's no poem, just prose.
