The uk has one of the highest rates of childhood obesity in the world . The majority of the children are from deprived backgrounds. It’s shows they’re not going hungry but they’re parents are feeding them turkey twizzlers, and frozen pizzas . It doesn’t have to be expensive to cook proper food.

Using tired stereotypes doesn't justify allowing children to go hungry. The strain of having to budget between giving a child food and paying mortgage/rent and fuel costs and utilities for the poorest families in the UK doesn't make for a quick fix answer either. Particularly when a parent is furloughed or made redundant.

Yes, he did, but I think it was the way he did it that p'd people off, he was oatronising and supercilious, yes, he did show people how to cook things, but when you are on benefits it's no good showing people how to make a chicken or beef casserole when the cost of that chicken or beef blows your entire food budget for the day, nor is it any good bemoaning that the sausages some people are feeding their kids have very little pork in them, when you have a very limited budget you don't buy £3.50 lb sausages from the butcher, you buy 30 for 2 quid from Iceland.
