Dutch government resigns en masse

Post by Petingo »

Good to see that there are still politicians in this world prepared to fall on their sword and do the honourable thing when they stuff up.

A trait that went out of fashion in this country many moons ago.

Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

Blimey a goverent that owns up to its shortcomings.

The Tories over here should take note but then they can always count on the forelock tuggers to keep them safe.

The defult state of pretending to be better than a manufactured bogeyman does nothing to raise the tory party's standing.

Pim Fortuyn would have been the best leader for Holland, but he was assassinated by a left wing extremist before he got the chance.

You'll have to bite the bullet on that one.

After all, he did.

He said he wanted to live together with Muslim people, but it takes two to tango. Nothing racist in that. He was an openly gay man and was concerned about some cultures treatments of women and homosexuals.
