I know leader was for some reason excited and looking forward to this election

Hope this hasn’t ruined his day

Maxime Bernier, the right-wing leader of the People's Party of Canada, failed to win in his riding. His party also failed to garner any seats, despite building a national movement around the platform of opposition to Covid vaccination mandates

Toronto still has a conservative premier. The gta is the most important region in Canada along with the Golden Horseshoe (which includes Montreal ).

Seems that the Canadian public weren't fed up with the Govt's Covid policies and liberal immigration policies…

Add this to the list of countries which were forecast to elect nationalist parties...but didn't.
Just us Hungary and Belarus.
