That money was already sourced & put aside prior to first brick being laid, according to Levy & ENIC.

He's got money coming in from TV, merchandising, ticket sales, corporate hospitality. The tragedy is that we are just two or three top quality players from becoming a seriously good team.

We have wasted a grand total of £37 mill on players that were either shyte or Pulis didn't fancy them behold:-

£37 million for that lot, whoever was in charge of transfers deserves to be thrashed.

The Arsenal figure is amazing, given how little Wenger spends.
And once we get more than 5 years past the Bale transfer, Spurs' spending figures will be a little more realistic.
