1922 was the first broadcast cricket on the radio. Either it's a fluke that it's been going ever since or people enjoy it.

It's barely ever on the "proper" radio, usually relegated to digital channels whilst they put the fucking motor racing (including practice races!) on live.

Unlike some here, I still don't mind TMS, though does depend who is commentating/summarising. Love listenings on the radio whilst pottering about or sitting in the garden.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.
