Heard that apparently too.
And Holmes.
If true, interested to see who they're bringing in yet retaining dinosaur Whale.
Delaney is decent. Holmes seems too smug to retain a core audience. Obvs never listened to Brewer or Ross.

Boyd seems like a shoe-in. Iain hinted that Eamonn Holmes is on his way in properly. It's potentially very exciting. Or a load of shit. Depends who they bring in. But Iain's suggested the station will be pushed in a BIG way.

I'd bang the brass hinges off Julia.

No it's a promotion. The breakfast show is the flagship show for a station, along with the Drivetime show. Though putting her up against Nick Ferrari on LBC, seems an odd move.

Re: Julia Hartley-Tory-Party
I've always enjoyed JHB's shows. She's well switched on and a decent broadcaster and journalist. Putting Graham on straight after is also a good move because I find he's even better switched on with current affairs than Julia. Both of these reshuffles are a good move by TalkRADIO and likely to keep listeners switched on.
The bad news is that DAB radio is still no match for the ubiquitous FM so many will tune out rather than wear their battery down listening online.

If she's good enough, put her there. Anyway I thought that mid morning was more the prime time for current affairs?

Well it seems to be similar to LBC in that it is politics, mixed with general news, business etc.

Well I have in several places but unless you carry a car battery around all day to power your dab it can't match the battery life of my tranny when out on site.
Otherwise there's still too much connecting to the internet for me compared to the simple technology of a radio
