Love Sport Radio

Post by Octavio »

Kelvin MacKenzie's new thing launched 'unoffically' today with the official launch due in two weeks.

Checked out the schedule and Brian Moore has the drivetime slot. Enjoyed Moore even when paired with the purple slug on TS so will give this a whirl. He's on with John Salako.

Kevin O'Sullivan is on at 1pm - TV critic who does the papers on Sky I think. Used to have a column in The Mirror years ago which was pretty funny.

Ian Stone does the breakfast show, never heard of him.

Lembit Opik will be battling it out against the Stain at 10pm so I guess the station is going to be a mix of mainly sport with some current affairs.

Not heard of a few of the others (Cristo Foufas?) but one name that does stand out is Jerry Hayes. Didn't think it could be him from back in the day but it is.

Jerry Hayes, ex-Conservative MP and 'star' of The James Whale Show on ITV in the early 90s. Surreal.

Doesn't sound a too bad line up, especially big bad Brian Moore. Might give it a listen. Shame only on AM in London, but can listen online.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Cristo Foufas (never heard of him, honest)

"Formerly the overnight sensation from LBC where he worked for some 6 years and until recently the producer of the very successful tv show Loose Women. Foufas is a proud gay and has never been afraid to tackle the big issues and is a vocal champion of LGBT issues."

:D Aiming for the ts demographic then :D

Oh my Cristo is back on the airwaves.

Mincing 40 something with a fragile temperament who talks about nothing in particular. Pure fluff.

Has self esteem issues having been overweight and not fitting into the Grindr demograph. I was pleased when he left LBC.

Listened to Love Sport last night, Brian Moore & Luther Blisset. They are doing the Drive slot.

Better than Durham (obviously) but the whole station seems very raw & amateurish. I'm sure that over time it will tighten up it's act.

5/10 at the moment.

Must give it a listen. Does their definition of "Sport" extend beyond football and the Top 6 in the Premier League?

New Sports Station

Post by Tony Dale »

Anyone know anything about a new sports station from old Kelvin Mac?
Is it on dab, online, FM ?
Will it challenge Talksport?
Are Durham, Goldstein, Cundy, Brazil etc worried

It's called LOVE SPORT and this is today's schedule...
An even worse line up than Talksport and that takes some doing !!!

It's McKenzie. He's a cunt on an off the scale level. Please don't listen.
