backatcha, Mein Herr.

I have been a bit disappointed with the frauleins :(

I was expcting to see a procession of Teutonic beauties but the truth of it is Alexanderplarz is more like Wigan when eyeing up the talent.

They actually opened the bunker in 2016 as a tourist attraction.

Really?

I'm guessing it was just a section of the bunker as it was huge & a lot of it appears to have been destroyed. Nonetheless, I'd love to have seen it. Bad luck, Pet - that's a real pisser :(

ol’ Pet is currently vacationing in Berlin, Germany and one of the highlights of the trip was to see around the eponymous costruct.

Downfall is one of my all time favourite filums.

But it seems they have closed it down temprarily on account of neo-Nazi types making their visit into a pilgrimage :(

Damn I'm going in June too,I wanted to pay my respects :(
I have greatest respect for Rugby Union, they started it mid-way through the 19th century. Thankfully we grabbed it and turned it into a spectacle on 29th August 1895

Whenever you see an article about Hitler these days, it's almost always negative.

Now, to be fair, Potsdamerplatz is more like it.

Chic, fashionable frauleins aplenty :)

This is a fantastic city.

Went to Alexanderplatz years ago, Pet. Way too commercial now, decent Thai restaurant overlooking the square though. Have you been to Potsdam Palace and Olympiastadion? Cracking places to visit. A lovely city with history on every corner.

I always wondered why U2 are so fond of Berlin and have recorded albums here, including Achtung Baby and Zooroopa.

Well, to get to the Zoo in Berlin one has to ride the tube, called here the Unter Bahn......and the line the Zoo is on is called the U2.

Pet.

Get yourself away from all this Nazi bollocks and have a good holiday mate.

And here's to the multi-racial GOT and GOG having a proper crack next season. 8)

The U2 was a plane.

U2 nicked all their imagery from Joy Division.
