It has become apparent in another thread that such notions are no longer of any importance to the fluoride generation.

It seems quite obvious that such notions are fundamental to justice in any civilised country, but is that because younger people have become so dumbed down that they don't understand it on an intellectual level, or because such safeguards are connected to rational morality, which also seems to have been done away with ?

Is it for some other reason I haven't though of ?

Once it's gone it's gone , ( and I think it has), so it's too late to do much about it, but I wonder what people envisage as the best way to replace it.
