Still regret not saying anything to the odious puffed-up little toad when I was on the same tube platform.
Mind you, he looked a bit anxious when I sat opposite him on the train and gave him a nasty look.
The only surprise here is that you didn't give him a shoulder charge onto the track.
A Chelsea fan did that to me when I was a kid, and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
Weirdly it was at the same tube station (Fulham Broadway) that I spotted the toad.
That's terrible. Was the Chelsea fan an adult ?
I was 15 and he looked about 30.
Jesus Christ ! Was the fucker ever caught?
No one batted an eyelid.
it was after the most violent match I’ve ever been to, and there was fighting all over the ground throughout the whole game and some Palace fans even started a bonfire on the terrace at one point.
What happened was he saw me standing by the edge of the platform wearing my Palace scarf, waited till a train was coming, then ran up behind me and pushed me as hard as he could. I fell forward and just managed to avoid the train as I stumbled - it missed my head by inches.
I was with my mate and his dad, who just said something along the lines of, “That bloke’s a bit of a psychopath.”
Then no one mentioned it again.
No one on the platform did anything, and the bloke just ran into the crowd.
Great times.
What was the score?
