Manson-The Lost Tapes

Post by AlcoholBrazil »

On ITV this week, recently discovered footage that was filmed fifty years ago.
What happens when cults and drugs mix. Not good. The trio of crew-cut deranged women brandishing knives is really creepy .
Also shows how the effects of LSD lingers for a long long time after use , it more or less rewires the brain.
6uild 6ack 6etter .
You will own nothing and be happy.

I caught this. Fantastic. Also got half-way thru Helter-Skelter, a fantastic read. Cannot wait for Tarantino's new film!!

Just re-read Hotel California by Barney Hoskyns about the Laurel Canyon crowd of singer songwriters like Jackson Browne, Joni Mitchell etc and bands like the Byrds and Eagles in which I spotted a mention of Manson who apparently, wrote songs and even had some studio sessions but ultimately, did not get a record deal.

He went a different path, as we now know.

Lynette "Squeaky"Fromme always fascinated me.One of Manson's children who also tried to assassinate President Gerald Ford.

She was a proper lunatic. I suspect she was going to be batshit insane whether she met Manson or not and would have done something terrible anyway. The rest, just seemed fucking stupid and easily lead.
