That's called backing up those who fight for you, as opposed to what the uk does. It probably springs from a loyalty to your own country, again as opposed to our own government

There is backing and then there is covering up. If crimes have been committed and there is sufficient reason to investigate, then there should be an investigation.

How does covering up war crimes fit in with 'draining the swamp’? The Trump cultists will forgive anything. No moral compass.

Unfortunately in the view of some, but definitely not all, this is not a ‘Trumpist’ action, although the latest application of the rule may be thought of as such by some.
The American Service-Members' Protection Act of 2002,
"protects United States military personnel and other elected and appointed officials of the United States government against criminal prosecution by an international criminal court to which the which the United States is not party.”

Anyone would think that the Yanks did nothing corrupt before 2017. It was as if Watergate never happened.

In the times which are now undoubtedly coming, we shall need the loyalty of our armed forces but unfortunately that has been deliberately saboutaged by our foreign bought parliament along with every other pillar of our society.
Perhaps the Americans don't want their soldiers to feel unappreciated.

Given that 13,000 of them are having to give up their careers, lamented by their own senior officers, but as a result of Trump's bigotry, I suspect you may be right that they need to feel appreciated. Although I suspect that the great majority would want colleagues who had done such things to be identified and punished.

The fact that you think any soldiers would want their comrades caught for what you'd regard as brutality just shows how little you understand soldiers. They're quite a brutal and intolerant lot altogether really ,which is a good thing actually.
Similarly, loyalty is a very different thing to feeling appreciated in the military mind but once that loyalty has been betrayed it is easily destroyed.
In the real world nobody in the military is upset by the tranny ban if that's what you're on about and most would want to go a lot further.

Another moment from dear ol’ Brother Royals.
Displaying his usual tenuous grasp of history as more light is shed on the Amritsar Massacre, the centenary of which occurred last week.
A shameful and bloody episode in British military history but eh wot, old fruit.....we mustn’t criticise it for fear of being disloyal.
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

The word "hopes" carrying a lot of weight there. More a case of him wanting people to believe it’s a realistic possibility when it’s not.

I don't think anyone's expecting loyalty from some of the people here. These things happen in wars in fact, and Britains got an excellent record compared to other countries, but it's no surprise that some here want to single them out. Truth is that a lot of people have been so brainwashed that they don't like this country much, and maybe they'll regret that if their dream of foreign subjugation or socialist dictatorship ever comes true.
