Hitler’s Bunker closed.

Do one of the historic walks run from outside Zoo station.

And the jewish museum

Worth a visit to KDW, the most lavish department store you can imagine. Check out the food floor, with loads of high-end eating spots, and (I think) draught champagne,

Great place to eat in Spandau, converted laundry , candle-lit. Loads of atmosphere.
Can't remember name.

Indeed, Leader. Off to Munich for a week in July and a visit to the Eagle's Nest is on the agenda.

Anyone been to Munich, any tips gratefuly received. Lots of sausage and getting naked in the English Garden a given.

Yup, went to Munich in Summer 2008, Carlos. A lovely city and reasonably compact. The Opera House and the Cathedral and must see places. As is Neuwanstein Castle, it's towers over the countryside and the views are amazing. If scenery and culture is your game, go to pretty, picturebook Bavarian towns like Heidelberg, Regensburg and and Bayreuth. Love Bavaria and the Black Forest.

Neuwanstein is alleged to be the castle that appears in Disney.
If you take the train from Munich to there, you arrive at the nearest small town which is worth seeing in itself. Picture perfect Bavaria,
In Munich, of course, lots of beer gardens, but a special one is the Lowenbrau

Also Olympiastadion, Checkpoint Charlie, Tiergarten, the Bundestag, Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Cathedral, Staasi Museum and Potsdam Palace but so much more. Went in 2010, absolutely loved the city and saw all that in three days. Compact city.

Like to do a trip to take in Dresden, Leipzig and Berlin again.

I thought Checkpoint Charkie was rhe most underwhelming of all Berlin’s attractions.

Ans Pottsdam was a great day out, boththe Palace and the town itself.
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.
