It was actually not seen as an issue until Catholics were accused, keep up.

Also, I never said it was against the rules. I don't think it is, is it? Seems like a few people might need to get their reading glasses out as they appear to be imagining a lot being said that wasn't.

I think that you need to "keep up" with regard to the cries of "racism" on this forum over recent years. You assume that I was directing my post entirely at you (I would have replied to your post directly, if I wanted to do that). I was merely highlighting how uncomfortable some people are, when the accusations of racism are pointed at the left.

The only thing that’s uncomfortable/cringeworthy is you so brazenly using antisemitism to score political points.

Do you still think it’s acceptable to use the phrase "self-hating Jews" to describe Jews who don’t share your opinion?

So anti semitism is okay, but mentioning it when labour do it is the evil thing ?

Are much of the Labour party Christians? That kind of thing usually seems more of a Tory pastime. Just wondering because Christianity has been the cause of most worldwide anti-semitism for the last 2000 years, so perhaps there is a link there that needs investigating.

It's his MO
Puts words in your mouth. Or classes you as a socialist/globalist or whatever and then attributes views to that group which you therefore must hold.

I like how anyone who says anything "anti-Brexit" is apparently a Labour supporter.

I think there were more Labour supporters voted to leave than remain. Something like 5.5m v 3.3m

Weird then that certain people here use that to assume who they vote for.

I thought polls about how people voted were completely unreliable though?

Just to remind people what the thread is about,

https://catholicherald.co.uk/news/2019/ ... evolution/

In a world where reality is now frequently questioned or out rightly denied by those acting wittingly or unwittingly to confuse and ultimately destroy mankind , the church has issued a document which will infuriate some here.

It is nonetheless correct and perhaps this is the right time to publish it since we see the rise of deception everywhere, yet we also see increasing numbers of people world wide expressing their rejection of those who would enslave them with false teachings. When they do so successfully at the ballot box we see rage and denial from certain quarters, so I expect the same interests will screech with rage against this reiteration of Christian Faith

That is all ye know on earth, and all ye need to know".
