Scotland 2 - 0 San Marino now.
A shock result looks on the cards.

McGinn hatrick, Lawnso :)

Weather is horrendous, and wonder what the chances of this being called off is? Noted that on UEFA's site the new rules are the game to be played 24 hours later (from the moment it is abandoned from).

5-0 and still raining heavily at Hampden. Puddles all over the pitch. Quite farcical conditions.

The commentators on this game are far better than the likes of Tyldesley when England play San Marino. These two focus on the game, Clive will laugh about part-time footballers having a normal job.

He was right over at the end getting the ball of the ref.

A good interview with him on the radio, saying every time he plays its a honour and the team are hurting.

A difficult game considering the conditions, and YES it was only San Marino ; but now on the two glamour 'friendlies' of Cyprus and Kazakhstan before the March playoffs.

I thought Shankland did well. Again you need to take in to account it was San Marino, but he held the ball well, some lovely wee touches and great movement from him tonight and in the odd bits of the ball he got against Russia too. Going from what I've seen of McBurnie and Shankland in a Scotland jersey, I'd guess Shankland was the EPL player and McBurnie playing in the Scottish Championship.

Russia hammer Cyprus 5-0 in Nicosia. They really have came on a ton in the last 18 months -since the WC. Some talented players, and I hope they do well at the Euros in 2020.

Can Wales get a result tonight?

Hungary beat Azerbaijan 1-0 in Budapest, so whilst a win is not a must, you'd think they really do need one to have a chance! Their final two games are away in Baku to the Azeris and Hungary at Cardiff on the last match day.

Table at the moment is (with Croatia-Wales to play tonight)

Croatia 13pts (played 6)
Hungary 12pts (p 7)
Slovakia 10pts (p 6)
Wales 7pts (p5)
Azerbaijan 1pt (p6)

Sky are being very PC tonight. Seem to be continually apologising for language that half the time you can’t hear.

The only word I can hear is "shit" and even then it is after the watershed.
