I have greatest respect for Rugby Union, they started it mid-way through the 19th century. Thankfully we grabbed it and turned it into a spectacle on 29th August 1895

Thought I hadn't seen Ronaldo in the flesh but I did in 2006 when Celtic beat then 1-0 in the Champions League. He did not have a good game.

I thought you would have put Given above Bosnich but google tells me Shay only played 37 games in 3 or four seasons. That surprised me.

Given was a far superior keeper to Bosnich.

Given was excellent with you, past his best with us. I remember Bosnich for although he was a twat at times, he helped in our cup wins in the 1990s.

There were so many good players prior to the shitty era around the time we went down. Left Yorke, Benteke, Hendrie and Merson out too.

All my Utd mates hate Bosnich, I think based on Fergies book.

He had cash, took nosebag and shagged supermodels.
Not a bad life.

He was a big disappointment. Didn’t really pull his weight and had a public falling out with John Gregory over his depression.

Look at this Athletico Madrid in 98, that got the crowd going.

Went to that game. The reaction from the crowd with Stan’s goal was phenomenal. Loved the big man that evening.
