Re: Nick Abbot
Dull as ditchwater these days. Something about LBC that likes vanilla presenters.

Re: Nick Abbot
I've not listened in a while, but the few times I have it's been pretty boring radio.
Let it fécking go about Brexit and Trump. Both are not great in my view, but talk about something else FFS. It's been three years of this. And sound effects just make him look a tit.
Strangely his best shows are those A-Z New Year ones he does or when he sits in for someone else - and can put on a decent and interesting show whilst making some excellent points without the smugness and leaves the soundboard at home.

You can tell Nick Abbott is another one of those who only absorbs his commentary from that which he's heard within his own echo chamber and it comes out as such. Just like KnO'B.
He really is a boring listen these day but you are certainly right spotting how he improves when standing in for someone else.

He did his own podcast a while ago (I don't know if it's still going) that was certainly a lot better than radio, I guess he's working under some heavy restrictions.

I listened to Nick Abbot's show (episode 31 May 2020) for the first time in a couple years. Funny in parts; refreshing to hear satirical humour regarding current affairs rather than the usual seriousness.

Catching up with Nick Abbot's show. Hilarious monologue regarding commuting and working 9-5. JAB: Just About Managing.

Nick is still a quick witted funny presenter that has a good following. Sure I’ve heard all the soundboard stuff hundreds of times but he still makes me laugh.

Only him and James O'Brien that are not far right swivels these days.
