"Nicolas Pepe's recent form can propel him towards Arsenal greatness"
"After a difficult start to his Arsenal career, Nicolas Pepe is finally starting to show signs of realising his true potential"
"Nicolas Pepe is already proving he can be Arsenal's answer to Eden Hazard"
"Nicolas Pepe to start – How Arsenal should line up against Norwich"

Well there we have it then. With Pepe in great form and now proving to be one of Arsenal's best players, bringing him into your squad, putting him in your starting XI and making him your captain seems like a good idea because not only is he a certain-starter for the game against Norwich, he's also nailed-on to score plenty of points against the worst side in the division........

Nope, that didn't happen. Arteta inexplicably decided to keep him on the bench until the 82nd minute, when Arsenal were 4-0 up. The final score was 4-0 to Arsenal! :(

Edit - I got rid of Sterling and De Bruyne because I feared Pep would make changes now that City have basically got nothing to play for in the league.

Also, my goalkeeper didn't concede.......until the 90th minute!

It's a good job I was already heading for mid-table mediocrity, otherwise I might have been slightly annoyed about this game week from hell!

Jonny Evans was the only player I transfered in this gameweek and his team conceded 4 and he scored an own goal! :(

I did have 26-pointer Michail Antonio in my side and he was my vice-captain! My captain was Doucoure, who only scored 2 points.

Every year.

Every year I KNOW I've picked the best team; yet every year I am massively wrong!

We'll done Mighty Blues. But watch out: next year I'll be picking the best team.
I might have done one - not sure but possible.

Thanks Stemcp. It was a struggle to keep up after the restart, both putting the tables up and keeping in touch with the leaders.

See you all next season.

It's in to Week 2 now.
