Irani was thrown out of the society of the stupid for being too stupid.

Ronnie on 'Drive' soon. A big man at Bushops Stortford.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Re: RIIAC (Part 3)
Was it ever made public why Charles Ronald was sent packing at talkPORK?.
Someone definitely had it in for him at the station because Ronald always sounded to me like he knew he was there for life.
Ronnie was terrible, but it made it impulsive listening just to tune in to hear how bad he was.
I reckon if Boozie had spoken up for him he'd have survived, maybe it was Bang Whoosh himself who wanted rid?.

Re: RIIAC (Part 3)
It wouldn't surprise me, given the number of not-bad people that have been binned off the SposhBroshfosh since.
None of us saw it coming, so there's no "listen again" evidence, but I suspect that RIIAC must have stood up to him on-air a few days before, and Entitled Al didn't like it.
AB seems to have an unfeasably-large influence on the station, as evidenced by the sycophantic plugs for his new book and appearances on other shows whose presenters he routinely treats with contempt.
It's all a bit odd.

Re: RIIAC (Part 3)
I never really put it down to Brazil at the time why Irani had to go but you're right Alan Brazil does have an awful lot of influence at that station and one word from him about getting rid of Ronnie would probably have been enough for the bosses to act. I also think as I said earlier if Brazil had really wanted him to stay he'd have stayed.
Maybe Big Al wanted to freshen the show up, if he did, it failed, for me anyway.
I think the best pairing by miles was Brazil and Parry in the early days.

I doubt Brazil gives a flying fuck who's sat opposite him.
His focus is on filling his face during the show and hitting the pub at 10am
He doesn't have any loyalty to people, they're useful until they're not.
