A busy summer of international cricket in England starts today when the First Test of a two test series between England and New Zealand starts at Lord’s and in front of a crowd.
England look a bit of a depleted side with no Archer, Stokes or Buttler.
Then there’s the first ever World Test Championship Final between the Kiwis and India before a five test series between England and India.
Bring it on!

Listening don't think I've listened to Test Match Special before.

No spinner(s) selected. Bad move. That is of course unless the skipper counts himself as one.

Fantastic tailend hitting by Wagner. Enabled Conway to get his debut double century. Wood’s bowled well today. Really enjoying this test so far.
Going upstairs. Looks like a run out to end the innings.

Brave declaration at lunch by the Kiwis. Could be an interesting couple of sessions now.

Can't see England chasing 270 in two sessions.kancutlawns wrote: ↑Sun Jun 06, 2021 1:25 pm Brave declaration at lunch by the Kiwis. Could be an interesting couple of sessions now.
Kiwis had to declare, to give themselves enough time. Could be a tense finish.
